& Crew announces the addition of the MALCOLM
STA-2 Solder Impurity Checker to our lead-free thru-hole Production
Department! The
MALCOLM STA-2 enables us to verify that the levels of lead and
copper in our lead-free solder are within the RoHS and industry
parameters. This gives the added confidence to our customers that our
lead-free solder is without contamination and is truly lead-free! The
many features of this system includes that it requires only a small
amount of solder to analyze for purity, has a fast measuring time, and
is highly accurate (up to +/-
0.015% for lead and +/- 0.1% for copper). We
test our lead-free solder at regular intervals then chart the outcome so
all can see a consistent history of results. If
